The Player Scouting and Transfer Programme at Richmond Hill United FC is designed to identify, develop and advance emerging football talent while creating meaningful pathways to opportunities within the regional and international football ecosystem. Operating in alignment with the club’s long-term player development philosophy, the programme plays a strategic role in connecting talented athletes to professional, collegiate and high-performance environments that can accelerate both football and personal development. While grounded in RHU’s commitment to developing local talent in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the programme also recognises the broader developmental challenges affecting football across the Caribbean and wider hemisphere. As such, Richmond Hill United FC adopts a regional and internationally minded scouting approach aimed at identifying high-potential players, facilitating exposure opportunities and contributing to the advancement of football talent throughout the region. Through this approach, the club seeks to create sustainable pathways that may otherwise remain inaccessible to many promising athletes. Closely integrated with the RHU High Performance Academy (HPA), the programme combines talent identification, player monitoring, performance evaluation and career guidance with strategic relationship-building across clubs, academies, collegiate systems and football stakeholders internationally. Players are supported through structured development plans, showcase opportunities, international exposure initiatives and mentorship designed to prepare them for the technical, educational and professional demands of overseas football environments.
